The actual size of any closet will actually be dependent upon several factors such as its type or what is available in terms of room dimensions within your bedroom area. In most cases though, reach-in closets are usually found to have a depth that ranges from around 24 to 30 inches and a width measuring between 3 to 8 feet. On the other hand, walk-in closets may go up to as much as 4 x 4 feet or even 6 x 8 feet and beyond. Wardrobes however, generally measure about 24-30 inches deep whereas sliding-door closets would often come with dimensions that fall between 24-30 inches deep and 5-12 feet wide.
