In most cases though, reach-in closets are usually found to have a depth that ranges from around 24 to 30 inches and a width measuring between 3 to 8 feet. On the other hand, walk-in closets may go up to as much as 4 x 4 feet or even 6 x 8 feet and beyond. Wardrobes however, generally measure about 24-30 inches deep whereas sliding-door closets would often come with dimensions that fall between 24-30 inches deep and 5-12 feet wide.
